Matthew Gay, SPHR has 20 years of experience in the areas of human resources, organizational development, recruiting, leadership development, call center training, and systems training. He is the co-author of Building Tomorrow’s Talent: A Practitioner’s Guide to Talent Management and Succession Planning.  

Matthew has worked as an internal human resource practitioner in multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies and in global organizations, with industry experience in hospitality, healthcare, telecommunications, information services, and manufacturing.

Matthew received his Master’s degree in the field of Human Resource Development from the University of Oklahoma (Go Sooners!).  His Talent Management processes and ideas have been documented as best practices a 2005 Learning and Development Roundtable publication: Profiles of Leadership Development Tactics.

Matthew has achieved the SPHR certification – Senior Professional in Human Resources. He enjoys speaking at national and international conferences and talking with anyone who is interested in talent management, high potential identification, and succession planning!
